If you’re looking for a finer thread ideal for piecing, appliqué and Micro Stippling, Star® “Lite” will be your new favorite. This 2-ply, premium 100% extra long staple (ELS), mercerized Egyptian cotton thread is available in eight colors on 800 yard spools with Button Wrap Tops. It’s a Tex 30 thread that’s fine enough for precise work, but strong enough to use on any longarm machine.

For brilliant machine quilting or embroidery, Star® “Shine” Metallic offers the perfect embellishment tool. The colors have a 60% Nylon core and a 40% coated polyester metallic wrap (with a coating of pure silver) for a brilliant sheen. This Tex 27, 40 Wt, smooth, round thread is available on 600 yard spools with the Button Wrap Top.

Star “Professional Long Arm” is a Tex 35, Egyptian Extra Long Staple (ELS) mercerized cotton 3-ply thread available in six colors. Its professional finish reduces static and friction while providing excellent stitch definition. On a 3000 yard spool, this Tex 35 workhorse was designed specifically to meet the needs of longarm quilters.

Lint-free and lustrous, Star® “Bright” is a durable, Tex 27, 2-ply thread created from 100% continuous filament trilobal polyester. It’s available on 5000 yard spools in six color fast, UV ray and bleach resistant shades. This longarm thread is ideal for tone on tone quilting.
